They have really screwed the pooch with this one.
Only a matter of time before the other free uploading sites crack down on free linking as they don’t get any ad revenue from it.
Facebook picture linking works even if your account is locked down but not sure for how long.

March 25, 2017 at 4:07 pm #22159Sweet can’t wait to see it done it’s going to blow minds.
March 25, 2017 at 3:25 pm #22155Just wondering. Could you angle the transition back and make that where the filters go?
March 21, 2017 at 7:11 pm #22106Pft limit to your skills my ass. I bet you when you first started you never dreamed you would accomplish so much and now look at it. You have an amazing knack for coming up with solutions for problems some skilled people would struggle with.
January 9, 2016 at 5:23 pm #13149Looking good Gary. Also that car port looks like it was designed by a legend :p
December 29, 2015 at 3:24 am #12775It’s definitely hydro dipped. When I pulled it off you can see it over the part bar code stickers. Cheers mate.
Still trying to sell it. Didn’t think wanting 9 grand for a rego and roadworthy VZ was too much but guess it is.
December 20, 2015 at 7:05 pm #12309Well not a lot has happened. Still for sale. Still no takers. Had one guy win it on eBay only to tell me 2 days later to relist it.
Sitting on 190,200 kms now. Radiator developed a pinhole leak so it got swapped out.September 24, 2015 at 5:25 pm #9594Some of the Toyota turbos do that but in a pretty rudimentary fashion. WOT = full 12 volts to the fuel pump anything else is I think 7 volts so the fuel pump isn’t running flat out. Can cause issues with more boost though going from part throttle to WOT so a common mod is to wire it to full 12 volt all the time.
PWM fuel pump control is pretty nifty though.

September 21, 2015 at 1:25 am #9378That piping looks bodgy as on the bottom set but I guess you have to work with what you got. Be interesting to see what difference it makes.
September 12, 2015 at 1:37 pm #9143Couldn’t help myself. Installed the aux input. Works awesome. Put it in the console so it’s next to the 12 volt power. Wouldn’t even know it’s not factory.
Phreddys work is so good. All neatly labeled. All put together very well.
September 9, 2015 at 9:21 pm #9082It’s actually plastic. Just get’s really brittle after a while and falls off. Tape will work till I can cough up 50 bucks for new ones.
September 9, 2015 at 8:08 pm #9054Every time I think to myself I need new wheels I go outside and doubt myself. No one has VF wheels unless there HSV. Just suit the car so well I think.
September 8, 2015 at 2:21 pm #9028New stereo bits are here. Waiting on the modified head unit.
September 7, 2015 at 4:38 pm #9015Woodgrain is staying purely because every 2nd person has either silver or piano black.
September 7, 2015 at 4:37 pm #9014Oh yeah forgot to update this thread because no one replied I didn’t think I would bother.
Stereo is out to get modified by Phreddy. Found the woodgrain look over a factory sticker so yep it’s hydro dipped for sure. Given the age of the original owner I would say he got some one locally to do it.
PVC lasted less then a week before failure. Fun but expensive experiment.
August 31, 2015 at 7:07 pm #8875Woo hoo. Power is one of things where if your not daily driving the car you tend to think you need more then you drive it and your like whoa ok don’t need anymore.
August 28, 2015 at 3:33 pm #8813Every bit helps but as you say you probably wouldn’t notice it on the street. I would say the benefits in regards to longevity would be marginal as well given all the people running with 20 inch rims and such that seem to have no issues. On the track where you would be pushing hard would be a different story.
August 28, 2015 at 12:59 pm #8806Yeah unfortunately the chrome strips went cloudy after less then a week so I took them off (by me I mean my wife spending 3 hours with prepsol) They did take paint off unfortunately but what can you do.
Air intake done. Now to wait for the Mafless loom with the air temp sensor. Smells real nice with it disconnected.
The only way you can tell something isn’t right.
Monaro shroud cutting for VZ overflow
August 28, 2015 at 12:26 pm #8800Oh don’t get me wrong I love it. Was just trying to remember everything as I was posting. Love the sound it makes or more doesn’t make. I don’t think I can ever get over the look on peoples faces in obnoxiously loud cars when I take off at WOT. Bit slow off the mark but once she’s moving it’s pretty quick. Went from the this to the clubby once and the clubby felt like it was getting held back but I knew it was just that much slower.
August 28, 2015 at 12:20 pm #8797Oh and I forgot I took the stupid chrome striping the first owner put on. Took off the V8 and Berlina badge off the back. Took off the V8 badge under the indicators to. It’s quiet enough to make you think the exhaust is probably factory and probably a V6 but once you give it some throttle you know for sure there’s a V8 under the bonnet.
Wasn’t a fan of the weird woodgrain but it’s grown on me and I have never seen another VZ with it (probably because it’s so out there). 2nd owner is adamant the 1st owner had it optioned from Holden but I’m not sure. 1st owner was 70+ years old so doubt very much he went on eBay and bought it.
