Can only get about 6 signals at once on any screen on zietronix so no delay

efi live is the same, if you put to many parameters on screen it gets delays up

yeah that’s why the mechanical oil pressure is only gauge worth having, the sender in LS and holdens is a on off type thing not a sensor that has a 0-5V signal so it can not tell you pressure

can only say yep I’m good or Ooo shit I’m under 6psi or what ever it is that it comes on at

Ndash plugs into obd2 port and another cable from ndash to a little box that is ZT2 wide band

that box has power, ground and so on and can also have egt sensor, fluid pressure or temp

it has a Bosch Lsu wide band sensor and a cable from ZT2 to sensor

from zt2 box to ndash is a serial data cable, they sell splitters and can split that so it goes to ndash and a spare

that spare is what I’m running to efi live

in efi program you just need to pic the language it’s speaking so efi live understands it

Yeah plug it into port and for basic things for the zt2 wide band like power, ground accessories power , if you want egt then wire for that to the sonsor

it’s a wide band 02 ay so it always comes with that so a cable and a 02 port into exhaust

its all pretty simple, just like wiring up a gauge really

once in and turned on just select GM obd2 and that’s it

    Caster camber kit

    tips on exhaust

Put wheel of manta onto it

    wheel alignment

Then I drive it until I catch up with leppy possibly this weekend and we put the OTR on and slap a tune into it and do quick bit of driving and touch up any spots then I drive it till it breaks down

after I get wheel sorted on manta and get bored of gen3 I will look for a 6L or maybe a 6.2 if one pops up and put a decent cam into it and either for a 24 bit or what size it is reluctor wheel into it to work with ls1 PCM and might try doin some home handy man port work on heads and couple little things to make a decent cheap motor

in the mean time got some interia part to wrap in suede like door trims and stuff to clean it up

paint under body one day so it’s black and clean looking

all the usually things but nothing major like paint job after this for it lol

I have a the zietronix with the Ndash witch is a pretty neat bit of gear

has a thousand different fronts and gets it data from obd2 witch means 5L are out unless your using a LS PCM like me but picks up every thing like rpm, boost/vac, IAT, coolest temp, every signal your PCM has even spark advance, can get EGT sensors witch I have 1 of and wide band sensor, can fit fuel pressure or any fluid pressure actually as well

im currently in the process of making this wide band talk to efi live for my data logging, up to date been using a innovate wide band

also here is a pic of my gauge install witch is prett useless now I have Ndash working except mechanical oil pressure

they are old mufflers I got when first did manta exhaust before the difillipno mufflers

problem is they are centre in/out not side in/out so I have to keep them close together to get the pipes Into them

Mufflers and shaft have about 20mm maybe 30mm

the tight spot is the big rubber mount on shaft, that is about 15mm or so to drivers side pipe as it comes out the muffler

All up though the car is low as and has plenty of ground clearance so happy with that

Got the exhaust built in a whopping 7 hours today, welds look they where done by a baboon and that baboon was me

from parts I had lying around and a few bends it was very very cheap for me

fitted the difillipno 1 7/8 extractors yesterday

    sounds nice as

just st need to do some tips and caster camber bushes

Well it’s all back together except the front door trims witch I’m fixing up, managed to fit 8 speakers Into it with consist of R type front 6 inch, 2 pairs of pioneer 6 inches in rear and a pair of 6-9 infinity or something in rear parcel shelf witch actually look like there top of the line things, have 2 alpine amps here I will run 6 of the speakers and a sub or 2 I have here from the manta and 2 run of head unit

did a strip of marone suede in rear door cards for now as tops where pealing up, will get some pic of that in different light as it was night and lights and looks nothing like it actually does in pic, I will do more to door trims down the line but just want it goin for now and think it out a bit more yet as to what I want to get imbroided on the inserts first

once I get extractors and camber kits onto it I will put wheel from manta onto it and get a wheel alignment and do some driving in it

    So it’s all painted now

Naturally been painted in a home made spray booth there’s a few specs of dust in it but we are goin to do some rubbing and buffing tomorrow and get it as good as possible

time to get it back together and get the extractors in and exhaust built and slap a tune into it and start driving again

also got dark as tint to do and bit of stereo to install, been doin some wrapping in suede as well

    I did the t56 conversion

I did $3k for a fresh rebuilt box from some gearbox company I can not remember now

All the rest was malwoods, $1700 for a ace option 3 clutch witch I would highly recommend, I’m pumping something like 460rwkw through it and holding up fine, billet slave cyilendar, remote blender, quick time shatter proof bell housing, under dash hydrolic clutch, billet resiviour braided line, a Th400-t56 tuff mount to a T5 cross member and 2 by 20mm spacers and a malwoods short throw middle mount shifter and front half of tail shaft and all bolts and bits required

All up every thing was $7k but that’s with very little expensive spared

(Not possitive on this but pretty sure but probley wrong ) i wouldn’t suggest finding a VR-vs t56 as they are hydrolic to cable and not the best clutch selections out there for them

Also wouldnt suggest a tr6060 as doin a t56 magnum would be better option

Not sure on zf6 speeds on how much they cost but am sure a magnum would compete with it strength wise and to even distroy a t56 takes serious power

End of the day get a t56 for $900-$1000, find a hydrolic clutch peddle and a bell housing as they are both $800 each, rest of the stuff is pretty good price from mal woods
