Isn’t that what I said few posts ago??? :)

Disconnect secondary throttle link and u will get power increase and that will prove theory.

    Get kalmaker tune done….

Yeah when you said it I remembered it had km/h on dyno and seen it was 170 and emidently thought that’s low

What rpm did it go to on the dyno you have pic of on last page ??

    It’s only 170km/h

Correct me if I’m wrong but you have 3.9 with t56 ??

At 6100rpm with 25.5 inch tyres witch a holden vn-vz has, (sometimes 26inch like my 20s) you should do 190km/h in 4th gear with a 1 to 1 ratio at 6100rpm

    25.5 inch total tyre size
    3.9 diff gears
    4th gear (1.0 ratio)
    5450rpm = 170km/h

And that’s the very end of you graph well after power had fallen over

    Don’t count out clutch slip

How do you know the clutch wasn’t slipping on dyno ??

    Iv never used them

I carnt figger out what there for

If it’s shielding it from spark then the leads are shit so change them as they shouldn’t throw spark out anywhere

Carnt be a heat shield as they will just absorb heat from the extractors and hold it there

Well if it’s blowing unburnt fuel out on the dyno have you cleaned the plugs or replaced them and replaced leads and coil ??

And every thing can be logged on a sd card in the right hand side of it, you might be able to see I have cut out in it’s mount there to see all on lap top,

and on the screens with graph lines running across in real time I can scroll back through it and see it at any pacific point what all the read outs where

So say I go flat out through 1st 2nd and 3rd

Can go back and see in 2nd (as you can see the rpm go up and down, doesn’t say 2nd gear) can see at 5278 rpm it was #afr, #egt, #tps, # boost and so on with all sensor read outs

Also I have fitted yellow stuff brake pads to my Ksport 8 piston 356mm brakes and 4 piston 356mm rears

    And also I got this

This is another bunch of screens available in other base formations so each formation has about 10 screens and there is 7 different formations

So here I have clicked on the EGT and can see it’s still in Faren height I can change that to Celsius and can see the sensors limits of what it can read and on the right I can set high and low warnings and I can set these warning for any sensor read out

Using the speed sensor of the car it can determin 1/4 times and so on but obviously only works if full traction is kept

Also have the water meth back in with the new serge tank, this will be used full time now comin on about 7-8 psi and progressive gets more till full flow by about 12 psi

I have how ever finally got the next section of my zietronix data logging system

This little gadget does so much

This is the screens available on 1 style of lay out, I can click on any of the sensor read outs on any screen and put what ever I want so say the middle gauge I can click and put any sensor it has axcess to so EGT, AFR, intake temp, tps, rpm, boost, at the moment that what iv got connected

Any read out any where I can what ever I want there, there on that read out I can set any parameters I want to display a warning, so can set AFR above any rpm I choose and say higher then 12.8 and lower then 10 and it will display a big red flashing warning across the screen

If I run a LS ecu witch it’s looking more and more like I will it can read ever sensor, spark advance every thing from the ob2 cable

Can display error codes as they apear and give diagnostics to check from it’s information it has

I currently have wide band I. Drivers side and EGT in passenger side but if I get a second zt-2 I can have EGT and wide bands in both banks

I have a fuel pressure to connect up to witch I haven’t wired in yet and also have a fuel temp I can wire in to it

Not enough power if you don’t break stuff

I want to see sheared bolts and twisted shafts on your page

Are ok, cool, you where lucky ones with a well built car

I broke so much shit in my car, distroyed 2 clutchs, a gear box, diff, rear axels, ripped 2 cradles apart, severly distroyed rear shocks

Then I got sympathetic and stoped doin hard 1st-2nd-3rd changes

Finally 700hp and a new diff solved it

Have never tramped since building car and it doesn’t get any traction these days

The only thing I can put it to is the LSD diff centre

You had auto don’t you cava ??

Never heard of a auto tramping

Seams to alway be t5 manuals but I’m sure a auto has before somewhere along the line

Myn tramped for years, stoped when I rebuilt diff and changed LSD centre

Rebuilt diff years earlier using same centre and didn’t change anything back then

If I run HSV I would have done lots of things different

Should have taking the model then made little changes such as widened the rear tubs slightly and make a decent sub frame and thrown them stupid swing arms so far they forgot how they where made and come up with double wish bone set up and be able to fit some decent tyres under it

Should have thrown the front K frame in the bin and designed double wish bone for that as well

Should of made different gaurds that warped over the wheels a tad more to get a lower sleaker looks

Back in the GTO days they should have designed a wide body version with pumped front and rear guards with a wide track and maybe lowered the roof 1-2 inches for that sleek look

Doesn’t matter if it was $100-150k or even more I bet they would have sold like hot cakes, look at the w427 all that really was is a 7L in a GTS with w427 printed on the seats and a piece of carbon fibre on the boot with the biggest brake and people couldn’t grab there cheque books quick enough

But that’s just me I’m sure not all will agree with me

Definetly poor suspension geometry in commodore that’s for sure

It where HSV should have picked up it’s game and designed it’s own suspensions geometry fitted to it’s models
