When I used to run my old VK at Barbagello, the tyres had small rolls of rubber on the edge of each block and the discs would be glowing blue after 5 laps.
Track days are awesome fun. Until you’ve done one, you don’t appreciate how hard it is to drive fast when the pros make it look so easy.

Posts: 118Well much excitement in the McRae household. I sent away to the Volkswagen factory in Germany and they have sent me an official “birth certificate” for the Kombi. It was built on the 29th June, 1960, was Dove Blue, with grey upholstery, and ivory knobs. Cool as we reckon
That’s awesome. Can’t imagine Holden doing that for something from the era.
