Same, with “really effective” cats in place there is some argument whether readings would have positive or negative effect post cats even (I believe there is less free O2 – richer than pre).
Threads in efilive, LS1, and turbo forums thrash out that theres less than 4/5th (approx) of bugger all in it.

Yeah from efilive site worst case scenario is 1%-2% (0.01-0.02) and others swear nothing. Every tuner I’ve met uses contraption after the muffler in the tips.

Whilst the engine is building torque duration is skewed to early induction, and a deliberately short expan…[Read more]

Thus bro sez ut bihst:
Once engine oil pressure is greater than the preset pressure of the (air side) of the piston, it is forced back and the (oil side) chamber is filled with a fresh charge of oil. So once set it is automatic.

Yes it is wired hot from the ignition circuit, via an installed oil pressure switch on the oil bypass adaptor plate
which powers a hydraulic solenoid valve.
So everytime before cranking I pause for five seconds or so to allow the pressurised piston to inject a few litres of oil through the system at a head pressure beginning around…[Read more]

Update:
Happy to say the headers are in. A couple of small modifications to the engine mounts and they miss everything! Not much room in there now though. Clearances are pretty tight so a little heat reflective tape here and there may be in order. But all in all I’m very pleased with the result. Now to build the rest of the system…
