I just brought springs and cam. Here’s another kit I found. With the AUD it would be pricey tho.
Tell adam daniel with the Vr/lsa gave u his number. He will tell u what to get and what to stay away from

Try adam at precision international. He helped me out big time. Top bloke. 0476 813 306
Should also get corresponding arp bolts. Like cam bolts, balancer etc. you will need new head gaskets and head bolts too as stock is TTY
Then gaskets etc for water pump etc

I had Lunati double springs. My comp can came in a kit. From eBay. Might be still around. Just punch in the cam number.
Everything wlse i got from adam at precision.

Ls7 lifters drop striaght in. Always Measure pushrods to be safe.
I used comp cam trunnions, there are other out there that also work.
Dont need double chain. But I purchased an adjustable rollmaster setup so I could “dial” the cam in correctly.
You can use a UD pulley but it’s not necessarily needed.

I’d had the comp cam 215/223 with great results.
The 219/227 is the next step up which mates have used with awsome results also.
I mentioned these cam earlier….
Would need a PAC beehive spring or a double (mypreference)
wont have to touch heads, can shave slightly to bump the comp if you really want.

What better way to test my new front wheel tilt than to enter into a state round at Ringwood. The Gem steers now without trying to kill me. Was an awesome day! Dropped in to fix up this thread because ‘up yours Photobucket’… While I’m here I’ll do a bit of an update.
Managed to get some Moog slotted upper ball joints from the US that also suit Chevette. Lousy pics sort of show before and after results…
