Id also totally flush all the oil system, good call on that. I’d call up the supplier, you might of owned it 3 years but I’m sure you would be able to prove how long it’s actaully been running and how many km’s it’s done. Fair…[Read more]

I’ve got some an adapters for the steam ports for sale.

I believe 6L is a lot bigger and the 4L80 is marginally.

I think I saw a 6L80 in a vp without any mods tho. Can’t remeber where.

Everything engine and box related will be off the shelf bolt in.

The trans however will be another story. I believe they don’t fit the tunnel so to some extent the tunnel will need some mods.

Could pcv running via un filtered air intake played apart? Could of got some debree in the oil

If brenton does all the measuring, and pre checks etc. the final assembly is the easy part.

Lucky you caught it early. I seen the photos on FB. Generally tuning issues do hammer the main bearings. Esp like that.
