I Wouldn’t waste my time with an ls1 now. You will kick your self in the future and think “why didn’t I go 6.0 or 6.2”.
If you can’t afford ls3 go the l98. No dod or afm mumbo jumbo and they already have killer heads.

Look for the ones that are removed from the gts to make way for the w1 and ls9.
They come with a lot of the extras u need.

Depending what box u use. You man be able to retain the clutch. Will would be a massive bonus. As it’s a twin plate.
But then u gotta weigh up the cost difference.

No difference. But if you can get manual it works out better as you can sell the clutch etc
you have to change the auto flex plate.
