IJ is probably better to answer this, but I would think if you lower the rach 20mm, you would need to also lower the ball joint mounts out at the wheel hubs to keep the steering geometry correct.  Can’t see an engineer liking that though…

My 911 had them .But of course it was the lazy old mans tiptronic, so no heel and toe required…

Actually thinking about it I welded and gusseted mine and the engineer had no issue with it.  Man that starter would get hot down there!  It’s busy enough on that side without it.

Nice. Yea when I had the Kombi blasted was told there was pretty much only one place to take it to that wouldn’t wreck it.

My lad is always banging on to me about how good floor mount pedals are for racing compared to conventional.  Looks like  a very nice solution (again!!)

Nice to see it getting some love!!  It never ceases to amaze me the absolute crap job some people do of wiring.  How hard would it have been for the last guy to neaten it up, cable ties cost nothing.  end or rant!!

I wouldn’t drill straight through the shafts.  Splines are best, but that’s probably not an option.  Is there something on another car you can cannibalize?

I reckon I can live with the steering, I mean truthfully I may never use it again, it’s just an ultimate safety shut down.  I am actually starting to think IJ’s suggestion of shutting down the whole ECU via its power is the go and most failsafe, that would shut down injectors, spark, and fuel, etc.

How nice does it look in there though!!  Nice work on the sump.  Do you know if an engineer will pass it with spacers under the K frame?
