Is this a vs 5lt with the adjuster pulley for the air con? Brothers pulley on his 5lt shat itself sounded like that and similar times especially at its worst on cold starts.

May be worth taking the belt off see if it goes away?

<span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>Fr17 3 piece 8 inch wide is lower now but had to change from a bfg Tyre to kumho to stop scrubbing currently profile is 245 35 17 I think….. I run a vl diff too just a basic guard lip</span>

Have ran 245 16s on rear with sssl springs in my old burnout car no scrubbing

My first vb ran vl diff and 18 X 8.5 wide wheels too no drama was spot on with the panhard rod alignment and those guards weren’t even lipped

What diff is in the vc? I can’t see any problems with your wheel choice assuming the offset is same as earlier commodore from the ve interceptor

    Hope this helps

If you do cap and rotor I reckon it’ll fix the problem but while your there leads and plugs may as well be swapped out cos if your there you might as well

A basic discount card with registration online is easy through us mate will just be a blanket 10% off but better than nothing and sometimes they have 30% off days

I’ll dig through my paperwork and inbox you an email address and a few instruction to set up the cards mate

    Cheers

    Store manager – Repco

Would love something with a larger salary but I enjoy it so money can’t be the only motivator

Sounds like when my ignition module was letting go, however also sounds like when brothers 5lt had a dodgy dizzy cap and the contact the rotor button get spark from was loose and making it run like an utter pig randomly so I suppose climb up on the motor and have a look at your dizzy cap and rotor and if you’ve never done them then they’re probably due for a change :)

    Cheers
