Posts: 32Probably a silly question but would 14 inch stockies fit over the VT front brakes? I’d love a set with some factory SL hubcaps but I dont think 14s would fit, I think I need 15s at minimum
No go with the 14s over the VT front brakes unfortunately, 15″ at a minimum.
The 14’s don’t fit VT on IRS rear without a spacer either…

Posts: 32If you only put that little bottle of coolant in, you are in for a world of pain in the heat….
ecotec needs 50% glycol mix, system holds 12 litres dry…. I’d be looking to put more concentrate in the mix, up to you though mate

Posts: 32Just as it says mate, pour the fluid in, line it up and keep turning it back and forth give it a wiggle and feel for it lining up on the splines, keep doing it until you are sure its on all of them, when it looks like its sitting too far in, its probably right… don’t bolt it to the motor until you are sure

Posts: 32Bellhousing (which is integral to the casing), input shaft and drum…
Use to be able to buy adaptors to get the V6 t700 converted to turbo pattern and then you get get a stall converter built to suit I guess… alot of work for not alot of gain possibly?

Posts: 32no vats memcal into a vt/x ecu and it wont look for the bcm (which is only controlling body electrical) key head is the register to bcm to activate pcm on a vats chip. so no vats means it should standalone no need for crudeness

Posts: 32Needs to pass emissions test, braking test, ensure fitment is standard and no modication or cuts or welds etc anything not standard needs have its own engineering report
Everything from the efi car needs to be fitted needs to have a ulp efi tank fitted proper hardline for the return for the full length speedo needs to be adr approved and operational
In saying all of this ring around and make sure your engineer is vicroads approved as not all are also have heard some engineers are tuffer than others which is personally not a bad thing but best of luck, my engineer wouldnt engineer anything if he hadnt seen it before the conversion through the build to completion but lots will
Good luck
