Lol, for some reason, the formatting was playing up overnight and it wouldn’t split paragraphs. Kept getting <p>’s all through the comment. Tried to fix it 3 times and gave up. Fixed it a minute ago

All 1.9’s. Need to adjust the rear brakes as it was breaking traction very low in the rev range. Not too stressed as it was more of a base line for future mods and working out what needs improvement. A high 11 is all I am after, any more than that and it goes from a daily/sleeper to lost in a crowd of modded Commodores lol ;)

Ran at the street meets at Sydney Dragway lastnight but couldn’t better the 12.8 lol. Ran a few 13.0/12.9’s.

It slipped in under a blue slip in 2012 as it lies now within the 20% power and capacity rules of the VSI at that time. Also had a set of 16×8 Simmons V5’s that were bought for my SLE, so I split them up and got them off to a Powdercoater and polisher, hopefully they will be reassembled this week if the back holds up. All up with buying them and refurb, I should be able to get out of it for under $1000

A late update. I have owned it for just over 3 months and have done a few mods while doing about 6500km at the same time, so will do my best to add it all now.

-First job is to re bush the rear of the car, on take off under WOT the rear was loose and all over the place, lane changing didn’t require an indicator, when it changed to 2nd but went…[Read more]

Tierod/ball-joint separators are cheap and pay themselves off on the first set of reusable bushes.

I got one of these and works alright. It wont do the ball joint in a commodore though, only tie rod.
