Fixed the wiring for the brake light today so that’s working now and re fitted the under boot carpet then I gave it a wash and clay bar will wax it tomorrow anyway couple of pics

It’s not an ls t56 tho only a 215i borgwarner t56 I had lined up to buy the current box from glenn as he was upgrading to the ls style and strapping on CPCs vortech v7 setup from his parted out vr senator build but that obviously fell through lol

Vs hsvs had them factory surprised my new clubby still has it although it’s probably way out of date

Is yours series 1 or 2 they only came on the series 2 I got one on eBay for around $60 a few years ago when I did a manual conversion on my last clubsport but they rarely come up and when they do normally go for a stupidly high price so glad my new clubsport had one on it still here’s a pic ssen8r

Love this car had the pleasure of seeing it in the flesh and I’m glad glenn sold it to someone who is going to look after it not good about your issues you’ve been having tho I can tell you this thing didn’t go too bad against a great deal of cars at powercruise hope you get it sorted soon anyway and continue to improve it

Pictures are deceiving the paint is heavily faded on the roof and some clear peeling on the roof and wing sadly it was heavily neglected before I got it anyway heres a before pic actually when I got it the top engine covers were on the back floor

also fixed a vacuum leak from the back of the manifold which in turn fixed the heater controls also removed the pod filter that was on it and replaced it with a vn clubsport airbox and vs ss otr snorkel re fitted the engine covers and a few other things

Ok so from what I can tell the engine has definitely been out and rebuilt the cam sounds like it’s around the size of a 286 and it is stupidly loud with the exhaust dumped at the diff so I’m going to have to get a rear section made up and possibly add a resonator its a little doughy at low revs but screams up top I have a 3.73 m80 in the shed that…[Read more]
