Yeah I like the low klms, (the main reason I grabbed it,) also the v8 and manual :D
All my plastics and door trims are now black and just waiting to find some nice seats.
the cluster I do want to be the Calais/statesman one reprogramed to my klms. but I may go the full vy loom
soon and see how I go.

Took the front seat covers off and found the seats are in good nick for its age.
But the seats and door trims will be changed soon.

I put the roof sunglass/dome lights in today.no pics yet as my phone went flat.
will update tomorrow with new pics.
Waiting on other parts to arrive aswell.

once I sort out all the little bits on mine to finish off. it will be respray time and then look at running gear overhaul. could get the LS swap after all or will just copy what you have LOL.
Id have to rob a bank to do that though.

Dash is a bolt in straight swap.
only thing is wiring for the cluster ,headlight switch and hazard light switch is changed.

Put the parts on today. now for the door trims
I got the radio surround, but I have to shave abit off the inner edges as the radio wis bigger then the gap.

August 12, 2016 at 9:39 am #18994Both rear quarters were replaced and had to get a structural integrity report to show the new welds were same as factory.
this way insurance too is covered and I feel safer driving it.
Front panels and dash is a easy bolt on.

I have to still finish off the interior bits and pieces. I have most parts except the seats and steering wheel.
but its a work in progress and will someday be all finished.
