December 23, 2015 at 9:17 am #12642December 23, 2015 at 9:13 am #12641I have seen someone somewhere (I wish I could remember) who trimmed the back corners off the sump and welded it up. Honestly I reckon if I were doing it again I would go that way.

December 21, 2015 at 1:53 pm #12591Mate you have some skills .. Love watching this build come together.
Thanks Sands, have you given any thought to how you’ll do your top seats? They normally come with a 14mm hole in them but even if you drill it to 16mm for the Koni’s you lose 2″ of travel to the bump stop, I machine them so they locate in the spring and the top bearing then bore a hole big enough for the bump stop to locate on it’s stock seat.. I have 4 here you can have cheap
pm sent

I know these will work just unsure what size to use
http://www.otomoto.com.au/c/4037307/1/sleeve-kits.html
These are a lot cheaper any ideas if these will work? I dont need springs
http://www.summitracing.com/int/search/product-line/qa1-coil-over-sleeves
Information to help others the kit you need is 55mm.
The sleeve length is 150mm

December 9, 2015 at 10:46 pm #12052Looking at doing simular, which koni inserts did you use im being told two different options length wise?
What mods did you do this time?
Where did you get the sleeve kit from and which was it?
Are the sleeves attached welded or bolted in?
Cheers
December 9, 2015 at 3:00 pm #12037My mates we packed it with grease and then flushed it soon after. We were having massive issues getting oil into the top end that worked a treat.
