February 10, 2016 at 11:51 am #13971second one is awesome!!
February 10, 2016 at 11:13 am #13965yeah mate a place is already looking into this. These guys are seem to do nice work and they do a lot of the other hsv stickers as well.
February 10, 2016 at 9:58 am #13960I like this ute ultra clean.. How far off till you think you will be driving it?
February 10, 2016 at 9:09 am #13959I have personally never liked the look with them off, to me they look like they are missing something. And it matches the moulds in the front and rear bars. Tricky thing trying to find decent door moulds
February 9, 2016 at 5:07 pm #13939Site must have been down now it works.. What a cool gadget… The keen to see what you make with it. As said above with cad skills and this you will be on fire.,
February 9, 2016 at 9:47 am #13927$$ is secret mens business (joke) this is it here http://core-electronics.com.au/lulzbot-taz-5-3d-printer.html. Its one of those things where it depends on what you want. The big issues are size it can print, detail, and materials. Mine is a Lulzbot Taz 5, was voted best printer of 2015 by a couple of mags, will basically print as large as a motorcycle helmet, down to a layer thickness of less than 0.1mm. Perfect for a variety of custom car parts
Link doesnt work ?
What kind of car parts would you make with this?
February 7, 2016 at 4:29 pm #13894Isnt it still for sale?
February 5, 2016 at 10:16 am #13849I had a sway bar link fail on my old VN, wasn’t to bad, just don’t take corners to fast or tight round-a-bouts……
Yeah had two link pins fail then last week we did this
February 4, 2016 at 9:26 am #13820Thanks guys thats why I love this forum so much on point advice appreciate it…… If clearance is that much of an issue now i think of it I really dont need them from the box. Ideally would be to add fittings to the existing metal hard lines near the sump run it from there but dont even know if thats possible?
February 4, 2016 at 9:11 am #13819Its funny you say that I just raised mine from superlow to low best thing I have ever done. Ill do the konis soon .The way to car, drives and rides is transformed. The other thing most people don’t consider is the effect it has on suspension geometry when they drop them too far and actual available travel.
February 4, 2016 at 9:06 am #13818Interesting how some big rep places… when you actually deal with them the reality
February 3, 2016 at 12:57 pm #13812Just put a whiteline sway bar on mine makes a huge difference……
February 3, 2016 at 10:12 am #13805Yeah the original coil over was made by pedders themselves. The reason why they have no knowledge is that they dont make them anymore. Not that I have ever been thrilled with their tech support anyway.
The ones you have are a decent design nothing like my early ones. Your best bet would be to contact bc racing they(pedders) just buy them from them and pass them off as theirs. You could just change springs to a better pound that suits you
There is an australian distrubutor

January 28, 2016 at 9:23 am #13684Cheers Mate, we try to look at things from a durability and engineering perspective. Ill post up pics as we make them .
January 25, 2016 at 2:15 pm #13606So then thats why we are starting from scratch making coilovers from gm struts.
January 25, 2016 at 2:08 pm #13603Out of interest this is why I went away from the pedders coilovers
Look at the mounting point its only welded on the front face. I had seen them cracking here from load. Another issue is the tube thickness… 2mm and where its threaded 1mm tube no good as well.
pedder vs gm(monroe)
The genuine holden struts are 4mm tube the whole thing. The bracing is full wrap around with folds for strength. So you have two compunding issues with the pedders thin tube and badly designed bracing for the mounting points putting too much load on the one spot thats already thin..
Holden bracing
January 25, 2016 at 1:40 pm #13602Nice bit of gear there, making my own coil overs as we speak.. What are the brake lines going to be mounted to? What brand are the castor rods and whats your thoughts on them?
So your making your own coil overs?Using the original struts as a starting point? Brake lines have been zip tied away to stop any contact with suspension. Castor rods are Whiteline. You will hit the front guard before adjustment runs out, fitted up fine.Haven’t driven it yet so can’t really give any more info.
Impressive looking car very neat.. Should drive very well mate.
Yeah after looking at what we had the pedders coilovers which were an awful design in many ways. And not even in the ballpark strength wise as the gm unit. We are modifying the gm struts as you say so least they are something well engineered. They also look stockish we will paint the sleeve kit black etc.
