Its trim code prefix “wy” its slate grey. Its unfortunately very hard to match as grey velours vary a lot and you ant get genuine I have looked and tried. My trimmer se vic could get close but not exact depends how fussy you are.  If you do manage to find it expect to pay big $$ for the genuine stuff

The low throttle stuff is the thing that so many forget. People get so caught up on full throttle and power runs. But this is the stuff that makes it so much nicer to drive.  What was the problem in the tune in the first place?

They really got the proportions right on the VL I reckon, such a nice looking car. Had a 5L sedan back in the day, was lot of fun.

The 5lt are very uncommon in the vl not many around

This shows the panels I am talking about mate. I fitted them and it actually did make a difference to sound. They have what looks to be carpet underlay stuff on them on this calais/statesman. You can see it in the picture above

Also  noise wise if you get the lower dash inserts the plastic ones from a statesman/calais they have from factory extra sound deadening on that plastic ribbed panel.

I wonder why also its getting so hot anyway? Considered ceramic coating your front pipes and headers?

    Brillaint, site looks

Well this is very exciting! I think some of you will know that my daughter Georgie and I have gone into partnership and decided to start our own online 3D CAD design and printing business. The idea came out of some of the parts I designed for HSV454. Our product line is fairly modest right now but we plan to add cool products as we go along. Tonight is the official launch of the online store. We would love you to go take a look and let us know what you think

Impressive range and site where has it been shared??

Big thanks to my iiC Claydo. I picked up a mint twin 3inch exhaust plus his custom 1 7/8 long tube headers. Headers are are going to my mate with a 650hp 383 vs clubby. I’ll be keeping the rest. champion
