July 13, 2018 at 9:43 am #26718Thanks Cav, Almost 9 seconds a lap quicker than last month it’s an amazing difference!
9 seconds?! Damn that is a massive improvement. Great work fella!
June 18, 2018 at 10:42 am #26612Nice little write-up. I like that bracket for the pump.
June 13, 2018 at 1:46 pm #26590Once the fuel system and water pump are in and terminated it will get sleeved.
June 12, 2018 at 9:59 am #26575That is some clean wiring. Is he going to wrap it in anything once he has finished?
June 7, 2018 at 11:20 am #26545Yea I totally get that, nothing can replace those memories. Funny how those older station wagons have become so cool. All they need is to be lowered a little and they are cool as imo.
I’m amazed at how many people go crazy when they see it cruising down the street. He just picked up a 85′ F100 for his next project, so I think you and him are on the same page of having a usable car collection.
June 6, 2018 at 11:29 am #26531Nice. Who do you sell through? I’ll be looking for one by the end of the year.
Sorry mate, we sold the last of the kits a few months ago and there isn’t a plan to make anymore at the moment.
June 6, 2018 at 9:57 am #26529This guy makes a bracket for just alternator. https://www.facebook.com/groups/381753768601320/permalink/1507370789372940/?sale_post_id=1507370789372940&rt=11
A good mate of mine and myself originally designed, developed and manufactured these alternator only kits. Then Daniel Kleisterlee got his hands on one and started to make copies and undercut us.
June 5, 2018 at 10:30 am #26518Yea I agree, a few years back he owned two E Type Jags, one was a series one hardtop that was mostly finished, I did the wiring conversion for him, he did all the machining etc to make it RHD. But he also had a series 1 convertible that was a total basket case. I could have bought them both from him for $20k but at the time had no money
Hindsight is a bitch!
My old man has a 65′ HD Station wagon that we cruise around in every summer. While it’s no E Type, I told him he is to hold onto that for as long as he is alive.
June 4, 2018 at 4:51 pm #26513Your old man has great taste in cars Gary.

March 1, 2018 at 9:55 am #26065Lol. Ian does more on a Friday then I did in 2017?

February 19, 2018 at 10:46 am #25976Car is looking good mate.
The calipers in these are super easy to rebuild. Just remember that compressed air is your friend when removing the pistons.
