Dragging on? For a second I thought we were in my build thread
May 21, 2019 at 11:39 am #28723Correct Garry.
For reference, I’m running the factory sensor in that location and then my Autometer sensor is going into the drivers side head with a small conversion fitting.
May 3, 2019 at 9:58 am #28531Great to see people are still tinkering on the mighty 5L.
April 30, 2019 at 10:18 am #28515I was thinking of heading down the Flex Fuel path at some stage with my build, so good to know it is possible to ask the standard ECU to handle it. Cheers for posting that mate.
April 26, 2019 at 11:58 am #28489Personally, you’d need to introduce some copper aspects in other areas of the car to make it work 100%. Otherwise it will look a bit out of place just in the boot and under the car. Black would be my next option.
April 24, 2019 at 9:59 am #28483wow that cooper work looks brilliant very nice…
I second that! Nice work on the copper work Cav
March 25, 2019 at 2:57 pm #28332If you are starting to play around with braided lines, I’d suggest getting your hands on one of these:
I bought mine off of Summit Racing a few years back and I never assemble braided lines without it now.
March 13, 2019 at 10:42 am #28273The personal insults and bullying tactics dont really resolve anything and just makes them look petty…
They have had another personal crack in the comments on their own post about the situation on the THR Developments FB page.
It’s a shame because this could of been handled 100x better by them.
March 12, 2019 at 4:05 pm #28266I was just reading the post on Facebook and am in total amazement by the way the team at THR are handling themselves…
March 12, 2019 at 10:22 am #28262Thats a tidy looking engine bay mate. Great work!
February 25, 2019 at 11:06 am #28156…but if I did it again I would have taken the corners off the back off the sump and had them tig welded up so the K Frame stays original.
Exactly the path I went down. Granted I took a little bit more off than just the corners…
February 12, 2019 at 9:40 am #27972Looking good fella. +1 for the boxed lower control arms.
Are you going to paint the undercarriage at all?
February 5, 2019 at 10:48 am #27881IJ is building another racecar, and I can’t even finish a LS swap lol.
I do have a soft spot for the E36. So I’m super keen to follow the progress on the new build mate.
February 4, 2019 at 11:23 am #27871Last run? What have you got instore IJ?
January 24, 2019 at 10:02 am #27833Nice work Gary!
December 5, 2018 at 3:10 pm #27596Nice pickup with the VH mate! The SS looks as good as ever too!
October 9, 2018 at 10:19 am #27315…true track and 308 gears, which might I add is very strange ratio for engine/box combo.
The belt slap would suggest that they kept the 3.08 gears in the rear for wheel speed.
Or they were just cheap lol
October 5, 2018 at 2:05 pm #27276Having access to an arbor press helps a lot too.
September 19, 2018 at 2:36 pm #27161Looks like the SSL Certificate expired yesterday Gary.
August 27, 2018 at 10:13 am #26980Looking good Cav. Are you boxing in the rails?
