March 19, 2016 at 6:32 pm #15124Not a great deal has been happening, pulled apart the headlights and painted the buckets to get rid of the rust. Replaced the indicators and fitted back in with new chrome moulds.
20% off at Rare spares today so managed to save a bit while I was there.
Looking for another front bar now
January 23, 2016 at 3:37 pm #13561Fitted up my tail lights, really tidies up the rear end, I’m in two minds whether to paint between the lights black like an sl/e, thinking it might tidy up the back more
January 20, 2016 at 8:56 pm #13527Fitted new lower trailing arm bushes today, picked up the calipers from getting recoed, just need to sort the rest of the bushes and brakes now, slowly getting there
January 17, 2016 at 3:16 pm #13410Gave the diff a Dulux reco today, I will be recoing the callers during the week and sourcing new rotors.
Then just need to start sourcing suspension bits so I can do it all in one hit, then the back end is done!
Opinions on Nolathane vs Superpro vs Whiteline?
I will be buying new trailing arms, upper and lower, adjustable pan hard and new springs and shocks

January 10, 2016 at 12:13 pm #13173Gave the engine bay a wash, it tidied up ok
Then decided to give the outside a wash, I’m still surprised that apart from the oxidised paint the body is in decent nick
Removed the typical 80’s window tint that was bubbled and purple.
Then fitted a new steering wheel
I bought a VC SL/E disc brake diff, so now just collecting bits to rebush the rear end while I fit that

It’s looking tidier now, but will probably get a blow over in the same colour later in the year
January 3, 2016 at 2:10 pm #12978I should really buy cars that are closer to my house!!
After a 5am start, I left Pakenham headed for Corryong, got home at 6:30pm, but it’s safely tucked away in my garage, uneventful trip and I drove it onto my trailer and straight into the garage.
