I am really loving your attention to detail and engineering. Top work on welding the nuts so neatly for example, to me its those little details that make all the difference.

K Frame has come back from the powder coaters, I LOVE powder coating for under body suspension stuff, so tough and looks awesome, just wipe it down and it looks perfect. Also see that Jenvey now sells nice manifolding for map sensor, so thought its something I can simply and neaten up, and it removes the block I did on the firewall making it…[Read more]

Pity you not selling it in a few months, would seriously consider buying it, but all my cash (and wife browny points) are tied up in the motor rebuild

I actually bought one of those stickers but could bring myself to put it on it! Toyota race team, wouldn’t need much, diagonal red stripe?

Great way to put it IJ, and it does it by itself.
I knew 2/10ths of stuff all about them too before starting my build, flare/stall/loose/tight bla bla, the guys that know what they are doing like Grant at Norwood’s who did mine can make them do just about anything to suit the application.

Not really, i am pretty much used to working on it and being careful. I have some cheap quilts I bought from Target and I throw them over the car so I dont lean directly on it or if I drop something it has a half a chance of not scratching it.

Not much to do whilst I wait for the engine build, so thought I would give the bay a nice polish up. Loos pretty much like the day it came back from the painters.
Also a mate popped around who is going to sort out the loom work for me and make it all much neater and tidier. He is also going to remove the 9injector adapters as well as remove t…[Read more]

For sure its way way better than stock, and only giving my opinion/musing/trying to add value, but using countersunk heads screws like that from a pure engineering standpoint isn’t really the best way to do it, as you just are not gaining the full potential strength wise of a what is a good design mod/improvement. Personally I think a better way…[Read more]
