The first decent machine I got was my lathe, couldn’t do without it, it’s not the largest out there, but the reality is don’t screw cut or turn large parts, but its invaluable for alot of jobs. But a drill mill is on the list for sure.

Yea that’s true, but the other 10% of the time when I am using it will make it all worthwhile

Yea I am hoping so, it was seriously mental before with the throttle response, and low down torque, but with an extra 150 odd hp (hopefully) it should be insane. Should sound epic too

Nice, for the record I loved that car, was awesome. Kinda put me off manuals after it tried to cut my feet off at the ankles though

Well going through some heavy duty health stuff with Dad lately so cars have been very low on the priority list. But Brenton is just finishing off the exhaust ports and combustion chambers. Rockers have been selected and ordered, so edging closer…

Mine ended up written off after the flywheel shattered doing a burn out. It sliced through the chassis member on the drivers side. It got sold after though, have often wondered where it ended up

Yea won’t lie, I am not a massive fan of the design job Holden did on the IRS on these cars. Massive camber change built into the design, plus the weight of the subframe, that is also prone to cracking. I would much prefer live on mine unless of course, you have the fab skills of IJ and design your own set up from scratch

Yea right, didnt know that. Don’t suppose it shows any evidence of a replaced drivers side front chassis member
