Maybe I leave the one I have where it is, then pick up at the front of the passenger head. That way I still run both gauges

Did cross my mind, but I like the look of how I have it all set up now. The temp gauge is going in the air vent pod on the right I designed/sell. It’s not like an advert for Build Ninja stuff, but I do think its good people can see how it all looks. And I do like old school gauges.

Hi all, I am not that trustworthy of my factory water temp gauge and so I am thinking of running a separate Autometer one. If I do just trying to work out the best way to hook it up. Currently, I have the water snout on the Mezierre water pump drilled and tapped and the factory sender fitted to the original wiring.
Would it be best to leave a…[Read more]

I love lists, so satisfying when you get to cross off an item. I think first fire up is the highlight of any build.

Yea nice, having seen these and Cavs have to say going all black with the fittings, especially on a white car looks nice and clean. So got a list of whats left, if you are plumbing this stuff up, you must have knocked off most of the biggies?

Lol, said just about every race car driver ever… Very cool build mate, every time I see a post on this or IJ’s makes me want to build a dedicated little fun track car. Hopefully one day I might get to ride shotgun with one of you guys, love to experience what it’s like on these small tight twisty tracks. Looks like tons of fun.

Great write up mate, good to see you getting a lot of fun/use out of it. So given you now have it caged up do you think you might chase a little more power to compensate for the extra weight?

Also got the engine all adjusted up, idles beautifully, can get it down well below 800rpm. Thought I would also fit the trumpet screens as that’s an accident waiting to happen.
Got onto a company in the UK called ITG Air Filtration, EFI Hardware (thanks to IJ) put me onto them. They look like having a nice filter set up specifically for the J…[Read more]

Managed to get the pins for the under dash, as they are still available through GM. Funny how some things are, others are long gone. Also found a place called Gen 2 Automotive 10 mins from me. Its run by a pair of second gen enthusiasts Danni and Ben. They run its as a part time business selling and wrecking them to fund their own “ob…[Read more]
