I think so far you are nailing super neat and functional. Seriously looks great. I imagine will make it so much nicer/easier to work on too, well thought out.

Nice work, I remember messing around for ages seeing if I could mount one of those at the back on mine, but the IRS just made it all too busy. Under the guard is a great spot for stuff I reckon, thats also where my windscreen washer bottle is too.

Yea understand, and that’s how you did the Lexcan so I guess you have the gear etc to do it.

That’s a good spot, I actually have mine in the factory VR location in the bay, you really don’t notice it. Whatever you do it needs to be plumbed into the engine, then also the tank. So it can pretty much site anywhere between those spots. From memory, the VT cannister is a rectangular style and may be easier to mount/fit?

Yea very nice work. been a bonus I guess to not have the trans tunnel. Can’t even imagine what a pita it would have been if it was still in place. Not sure I have asked you before, are you planning on making the tunnel removable?

Had the exact same issue when I was working on the Kombi. When I get back into it going to go up in wire size, I am over rethreading the bloody thing!!
Looking good though mate, just remember every weld is one more closer to the end!!

Thanks for that, yea I have one, it’s actually good for a broad idea of how well the ITB’s are synced too. I didn’t think of using it for a misfiring cylinder though! I have a “tune equip” box, it’s starting to get rather full!

I reckon that’s because modern injected cars start so easily. Mine fires first hit pretty much every time. So bugger all cranking.
