Thanks all, am actually very relieved, but also happy to have it back going again. Did the obligatory Gawler “Mainy” and slowly cruising no one even turns their head (including cops) so just how I want it. I am really happy it hasn’t lost that docile cruiseability, Brenton thinks the long ITB runners help with that. You bet there will be v…[Read more]

Yea baby, now we are talking. I think the popping and farting is just a warm up issue. Started it and let it warm up thoroughly, took it for a drive, just awesome. Fark me its got some power, its pretty much totally unusable on the street power wise which is awesome. At basically any speed you can just light it up at will, it does actually tra…[Read more]

Depends a bit, to me the intake pipe you sort of see instantly when the bonnet is up. When I see a car with silicone elbows and joiners etc I think it looks messy. Whereas a nice single fabricated piece in polished ally with a silicone joiner at each end looks the goods. But its personal preference.

Just remember IJ, (actually all C+ members) I am a 3D CAD modeler, if I am able, happy to help out with 3D modeling, including ranges of motion, etc. But there is always a place for Cardboard (or Concrete) aided design

He is hoping to buff it this week, so I am guessing maybe next week. At least I have the other bonnet on there now so I can drive it. Although it looks like yet another wet weekend coming, so probably no drive time

And great to hear the bonnet is in paint. As with all Franks work its looks sensational and it’s just straight off the gun. Have to turn my attention back to 3D printing the grills for the cutouts. Going to shelve the air boxes for now, but getting cool air up through those vents can only be a good thing.

Yea at some stage. But tbh after all its put through in the last 12 months I just want to take it out on the streets and enjoy it for a while. I am going to admit its a bit of handful and a little scary right now, so I will just drive it and get used to the new power and how it puts it down. Then eventually run that bloody 10, and tick that on…[Read more]

Its alive First drive just then. Holy crap it was insane before, its now a mixture of angry and insane, just awesome.
Bit of work to do on the street tune, she pops and farts like the morning under an Indian curry night, but actually apart from that quite docile and driveable at normal speeds. Relatively quiet too.
But holy shit hit…[Read more]
