Hey Cav, is it possible to put that top on the blower 180 degrees so the two hoses come out the back not the front? Is it symmetrical?

Hey not being critical, at the end of the day it’s your car! And there is a def difference from oz to NZ, and actually even state to state in Oz. Here in SA, it is no part of the car can be lower than 100mm. On mine, the critical area was the bottom of the headers clearance ro the ground. Thank goodness for adjustable coil overs

It does seem a lot. Just trying to imagine that, so it would basically make the bottom of the front K member that much lower assuming the body of the car is at the same height right? That would make it pretty bloody low, less than 100mm which is legal min-height here in Oz I am guessing?

Emergency stop switches have arrived, hopefully, on the weekend get a chance to look at which is best and mounting it.

Lol, thanks guys. I went and had a look at the scene if the crime. It’s actually quite unbelievable how close I came to disaster. Dropped the wheels at the rim place today, both are still dead true, so just scratched up a little. Bit of a tlc and a re-powder coat and away we go. So glad I got out of it so cheaply (and safely)

IJ is probably better to answer this, but I would think if you lower the rack 20mm, you would need to also lower the ball joint mounts out at the wheel hubs to keep the steering geometry correct. Can’t see an engineer liking that though…
