Thanks, interesting, so the LSX454 has a small tap off point the DS rocker cover, you can see I have plugged it with a small plastic plug I 3D printed. Its level with the logo but in front of it. Maybe I put that back and run a line up into the side of the plenum through a grommet? What is the actual job it does?

Cheers, just sort of gave it a longer look, I think it looks good, I mean at the end of the day it has to work.
Dont think I will lost the noise, it gets pretty hectic in the cab under wot, cant imagine it losing it all but I guess time will tell.

Decided to try and get motivated and finish off a couple fo things, never been totally happy with the engine breather set up. Worked out there is a push in fitting that goes to 12AN that fits nicely in fill hole on the rocker cover, just had to turn the lip down a little in the lathe. Drilled a corresponding hole in the other rocker. So will mo…[Read more]

Only going to get a chance to work on it today, and sort of getting to the point where I am waiting on the panel stuff I have ordered to finish off the cargo floor including the B Pillars to above the hinges which are out of stock.
So thought I might tackle the buckle in the top of the bulk head, which has been bugging me. I also thought it was…[Read more]

Easy to do mate, I think from memory its a relatively fine pitch thread on those, so would be easy to mix up. Coming along nicely though.

Thought I would chime in, your nut issue sounds a bit suss to me. If it were damage, ie cross threaded, or a buggered thread (in the nut or on the bolt) it would only be on one of them not all 4? Have you tried each of the nuts on each of the bolts? If you have the same issue with all 4 you sure you haven’t accidentally mixed the nuts up and yo…[Read more]

That’s one thing I think would be cool about building your own race car, its like “I need more clearance, ok, so i think I will just cut a hole then!” Nice work.
