Because i was told to run s13 coil overs. And couldn’t find anywhere that said it would be an issue.

So that’s what i bought. I guess you learn from your mistakes.

They’re s13 coil overs. adjusted to near full height.

Everything i read about doing the conversion never mentioned that it had to be low or nothing.

Destroyed my guards today. I’m thinking strut top spacers to get some clearance?

Coils are in. but sit way too low. even at full height. unsure what to do now. ahh. pics anyway. haha

Thanks for the offer. I do have the factory sway bar. Just unsure how to mount it to the coil overs.

And from what i understand, less sway bar in the front compared to rear promotes over steer.

Which is what I’m after. And the coil overs should be generally stiff.

S13 Coil overs and adjustable tops. VS rack ends. VS lower control arms.

Shortened VS caster arms. Modified VS hubs. Nolathane bushes to suit.this

All will be fitted up this Saturday. I’ll try to remember to take photos.

Haha yeah. Worst part was that i was only in adelaide for the week for work training. Made going there even worse.

Got one caprice handle in today. Hopefully do the rest tomorrow after work.

All handles are in. also replaced my drivers mirror that had tech screws in it.

Disassembled my chrome handles today. Should be in the silver surrounds and installed Saturday.

Also got backed into. Getting fixed on the 18th.

Got a defect for being too low…Major.

The thing is, I’m yet to find an actual coil over kit. seems nowhere makes them.

Anything I’ve found is custom one off builds.

Sway bars are also on the list of to do’s after coil overs in the front.

I’m on the Arcan train. Great jack.

I know the threads over a year old. but. silicon spray on the felt runners works well for a quick fix.

Its all just screws. All could be done in a weekend or less.

I Have a D34 yellowtop. Around 4 years old now. Never had a trouble. My alternator on the other hand is on the way out.

Not that it will probably matter now.

Chances are your refrigerant has leaked out. Pretty sure commodores dont have sight glasses. So head to somewhere that deals with a/c and get the system recovered if theres any refrigerent remaining. Then vac’d down and checked for leaks.
