OK, I appreciate you’ve spent a lot of time making the long pipes for one side but one last thing, would this design fit?

11″ Shorty Headers coupled with 31″ long 3.5″ OD secondary (collector)

Where did you get the calculation for total length? 40″ seems way too long vs 23″ ideal.

And also the pipes are cyilendar 1, 3 and 7 are 42 inches long and cyilendar 5 is 40 inches close enough I suppose

Is that total length including collector?

What is the average length of primaries (before collector merge)?

By definition a pessimist is one who wears both belt and suspenders, so with none to be seen I’m clearly optimistic about the build… and an incurable showoff  :-o

Is anyone here running a tru trac? I’m not really big on skids and would rather have the most amount of grip possible on the street ( even though stretched tyres goes against this, im working on that lol ) Would a tru trac help with overall straight line grip? Would do 3.7 gears as well if I bought a new centre.

Dunno about gears on your car, but yeah definitely get torque sensing diff, improved handling in my car outta sight.

With suspension geometry sorted, it allows you to put the power on earlier coming out of corners… noticably. so faster, more control and better turn-in and out.

Wasn’t it Enzo Ferrari that said horsepower sells cars, torque wins races?

Carroll Shelby, actually.  Ferrari is opposite – all HP.

i just took one off a 4×4 been round for eons seem to filter out carbon real well if you select the right roll of shit paper :D.

Yes I admit I’m fussy about which brand I use for the Job as well!

What application are you thinking of using it in?

Street, I run ethanol exclusively and a bypass filter takes the water out of the oil completely, plus filters below 20 micron where most harmful crap occurs. So one of these refineries plumbed from the ready-made LS bypass port makes sense with this build.

Also I’m planning a decent low maintenance air oil seperator which returns to oil system, but of course would like to refine the effluent feed. Toilet paper seems a forgotten option  :bye:

Been running one forever on my good engine due to the crappy design of the AWD Sump, I baffled it but wanted the extra peace of mind an accumulator gives, ran one on the rod knock prone 7M in my old Supra as well and never had a failure.

Looks great, same place I was thinking.

What did you use exactly, Accusump 3 litre?

What pressure solenoid (I take it is not manual)?

    Also what paint thanks?

The hydraulics are a priority on this particular build as it runs high lift AFM collapsible lifters and Oil Control Valve for the Cam Phaser, which dictates critical oil supply.

Also addresses the seemingly typical under-lubrication of the camshaft face and bearings in these engines.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, good value, common sense improvement with no downside, except three litres more oil at change.
