Well, if ever there was to be a book written on how not to handle the withdrawal of your manufacturing from a country, surely chapter 1 would be a case study of Holden.

You get a lot of those kind of niggles to sort. Especially once you get used to it and start to be able to notice the little things. It’s all part of a big swap imo.

Couldn’t resist squeezing in an hour or two. Scored a donor door off Cooper that had the lower curved part. Yea I know, 60 years old and they were ever really built to last, more a work horse. I kinda think each bit I cut out and repair is one less piece of rust before the end

That’s me for the day, heading into the Fringe. Doing the doors, tricky little sucker to work on. Not sure if this door is really worth the effort but going to give it a crack. Haven’t sanded the welds etc, doing a bit of racing the next couple of weeks so not sure when I will get another crack at it.

^ that “rod” is kind of the idea I have for mine one day. Sort of a cross between a clubman type circuit car and a hot rod.

Looking great dude, same brakes as mine, they work great. Does lowering the K frame like that mean you have to do anything funky with the springs and shocks, or does it all just bolt up like normal?

Those cables are certainly toast (excuse the pun). Do you have any plans for venting the bonnet, given its a smaller engine bay?
