Building my exhaust at the moment and most of this rings very familiar for me. Some solid advice in the write up. If I was to add one thing, it would be that from what I can definitely say on VB-VK (and probably onwards), offset in and centre/offset out mufflers are a must. Just a simple thing that’s easy to overlook but the offset in makes life just that little bit easier.

Would stick with the pacemakers too. Ideally a custom set would be the best though. Seems to be a big hit and miss thing between the mounts you use and how the headers fit when these conversions are done. Generally pacemaker recommends you use their engine mounts when you use their headers and I noticed you have used tuff mounts instead. Maybe something to be wary of.

Whenever I see EH/EJ holdens, I get bad ideas of grumpy SBCs and fats and skinnies amongst other ideas. The fact your keeping this more or less stock though is something to admire. People say it’s harder to keep them original than to modify one but once this is done you are going to have one super tidy and sweet cruiser. Enjoy :D

Stuff it, the picture is going here instead lol. Taken a few weeks back with FR18s I bought for it. Excuse how dusty and dirty it is. Been sitting in the shed for a while and needs a good wash when I start taking it out again.

Awesome job on the forum. Can’t wait until this gets big. Will definitely become the place to be for all things Commodore.
