Cheers for all the advice guys. If the lead on the selector indicator doesn’t come through I will be sure to try out all of the above and hopefully get something presentable. The selector window insert is actually presentable (photo makes it look bad) it’s just broken at the bottom and when in park you can see the shifter mechanism below.…[Read more]

Cheers man. It’s been a long road but I’m literally 2 or so weeks away from the first drive with the new combo.
Legend! Was able to find the selector indicator but no luck on the selector (window?). May repair mine and leave it be. Nothing some super glue can’t fix lol.

Alright looking for a bit of help. Does anyone have spares of the pictured parts in good condition or know if they are reproduced. My searches so far say they aren’t reproduced so I am pretty much looking for mint second hand parts. Any help would be…[Read more]

Great work so far mate. The HQ shape is among the best. Convos look tough too. I have plans for a ‘Q to sit next to the VB one day with a spare big block I have sitting around. Will definitely follow this build.

Thanks for the heads up about this, odd glitch where a ‘badge’ used in testing resurfaced and started randomly awarding itself to users haha. Have fixed it now I believe.

What’s the go for early girls when you don’t want to go 9 inch? Have heard the VL Turbo diffs are the ones people usually choose. What kind of power do they hold up to?

Sweet VH mate. Looks super clean. Would be keen to read about the brake upgrade when you do it. Was something I was thinking would be happening to mine before too long.

Ha ha ha so much work to do it! And this was only a stock respray… no smoothing or cutting anything. Learnt a whole lot for next time though.
Finished welding the exhaust over the weekend including the H pipe and got it on the car just to start it and see how it sounds… Sounds awesome… throaty, deep and aggressive, no sign of thong…[Read more]

Minor update. I have added a ‘report’ button for users following a couple of ‘spambots’ creeping through the rego process. If you see any obvious spam posting, please report the post & also the user by clicking on their name and then the ‘REPORT’ button.
A moderator can then check the user and if they are a spammer, delete it so we can all carry…[Read more]
