That was pretty much the thought we had, I was worried a bit about turning it over as is with it sitting for the time it has been, was thinking of putting some of the Penrite run in oil I bought into the tops of the pistons, just in case the assembly lube is long gone
Sure it’s been answered somewhere, but what’s way of priming the oil pump,…[Read more]

ok, well my engine and transmission is finally in the car, after about 3 years
just want to know what might need to be done to run it in, its a roller cam block out of a VT 5.0, is there a run in procedure for the cams on these?
anything need to be checked in particular, been reading up on other forums regarding priming the oil pump

Using Edge 25w 50 in mine. Seems pretty happy although I don’t use it that often.

my current coolant overflow was average looking so painted it black and just left a small section with a window to check the level.
i know that you cant buy them new anymore, was just thinking about this last week when i was refitting my Windscreen washer bottle into my VS, decided to give it a wipe down as it was dusty and put my thumb thru it…[Read more]

Nah, no club thing. I saw that car on facebook, looked awesome. It was for employees to have there cars photographed. My dad had his HQ done a few months ago and when they announced they were doing another one he put his name down so I could get my car done. They will be doing another one next year so he will get my cousins torana for that one.

The main photos were only taken inside one spot in the plant. Haven’t got those photos yet, but here is a couple I took on the way out. Saw a Series 2 Red VF wagon…[Read more]
