Hi all. As the title suggests, I’m looking for tips on removing a stuck tie Rod end in my VH. I need to drop the rack to fit my headers (ls1 conversion). I’ve removed the crown nut and hit the tie Rod pretty much as hard as I can with a claw hammer, and it won’t budge. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s still the original unit. Any tips? I did he v8 experience at eastern creek 10 years ago. Good fun, but I agree with it not being long enough. You need another 10 or 15 laps I reckon. I did the Formula Ford one last year at Wakefield park (goulburn). That was much better. You don’t get the sound of a v8, but Christ they’re quick. I’m currently building my VH with Ls1 conversion. I’m using Pacemaker headers (PH5345 from memory). I’ve just done my first dummy fit of the motor and box.
