That last shot showing the steering wheel in position looks awesome. At least you are honest enough to show welds less than super model good looking. Even finger smear some sealant around it to make sure it’s all sealed. It is a race car after all!! Great work as always .

320rwhp, by my rule of thumb calc means 320 fwkw, which is 430fwhp which is around what they are saying. Imo peak HP is such an overstated number, its a pub pissing contest. It’s all about the shape of the power curve to produce it on a streetcar. Peaky engines are a bitch on the street. It will spend most of its life around 3,000 rpm, whe…[Read more]

Yea, I meant the “top” on the blower. I just thought it would look better if you didn’t have those two hose coming out the front. Has it been tried, just doesn’t fit?

Got told by someone once, rule of thumb is flywheel kW = rear wheel horsepower. I am guessing it’s going to make say 350kW at the flywheel, so that equates to approx 350 rwHP.

Hey Cav, is it possible to put that top on the blower 180 degrees so the two hoses come out the back not the front? Is it symmetrical?

Hey not being critical, at the end of the day it’s your car! And there is a def difference from oz to NZ, and actually even state to state in Oz. Here in SA, it is no part of the car can be lower than 100mm. On mine, the critical area was the bottom of the headers clearance ro the ground. Thank goodness for adjustable coil overs
