yeah that’s true. Mine are probably more for looks haha.

Another option for gauges, if you are not worried about AC is in the top vents of the dash, up near the trip meter and stuff, cant exactly recall what a stato dash looks like, but might fit in there well?? just a thought.

Yeah go for it mate, it only came about because i was thinking of putting the gauges there (want to try and put a double din h/u in the dash) and a mate said “will the gauges fit in the holes for the controls?”, pulled it out and they did, perfectly. Na, AC is not important to me. I drive with my windows down all the time. And this will never be a daily. I’m gunna leave all the AC boxing in there but will never get used.

Thanks guys, yeah I was stoked when I picked it up a few years back.

Now its a struggle to find time to spend on it. I have had the motor ready to come out for about 3 weeks now and just have had no time to go and borrow crane from a mate and actually pull it out.
