Went and looked at a set of VZ Calais leather seats, paid a deposit, pickup and install will happen very quickly as I got them for a song!

This will be coping a buttload of love in the coming months – sending it off to get every single suspension bush replaced, new struts all round, larger rear sway bar for funzies, new engine/box mounts … then will be off to a local reputable shop so it can make…[Read more]

License has returned, huzzah! The above mentioned “full fluid change” never happened, because reasons… however I am getting a fair bit done on the ol’ girl in the coming days/weeks, in this general order:

New radius rod bushes in the lower control arm
New outer tie rod ends
New front wheel bearings

While you’re waiting for the springs, should go down and start it, maybe even get some heat into the motor – this week of “down time” while waiting for the springs may never come again, and it could be the perfect opportunity to iron out niggles while it is still “stuck on the hoist”
