Awesome stuff, looks like a lot of fun!

Koenigsegg 3D print their variable geometry turbine housings in stainless steel, inc. the internal moving parts and threads all in one hit! Crazy to think where 3D printing could eventually go…

I think the issue as IJ pointed out though is the T700 (& 4L60e) are a one piece case design, so you cant swap the bell housing. The 4L65e has a split case. I reckon that CRS adapter is pretty simple way to go.

as per above you just cut off the bellhousing

Or machine up some offset dowels… (sorry it’s the machinist in me)

Offset dowels are good, problem is most people wouldn’t know how to dial in a case or that you even should. Dowels are more critical than people give credit for… Hell some people just bash out the trimatic block dowels drill 2 new holes and bolt the case up undoweled.

Its not drilling new holes that’s the problem its the dowel location as above.

Just source a block and rebuild, cough* deck it.

Cavs right… Bigger the better on blown cars.

And of course you can make the same power on different amounts of fuel it all comes down to bsfc.

The ideal way to do it is you screw a fitting on the oil pump filter thread and use say an old power steering pump driven with a drill to prime the engine. Turn the engine over by hand while you do this, that will get oil up to the rocker gear as well before you start it. And a bit of vaso or sticky assembly lube on the pump gears to get some suction happening… Trying to get oil pressure off the starter is :negative:

Thanks they look good. I have been told ET Streets are actually street legal in Aus, do you know if these are? Link for them btw https://www.toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-tq-DOT-drag-radial-tires

Cant see why not they have a load and speed rating…. probably stand out less than an et street… they get pretty good reviews. Could always give vehicle standards a call 1300 882 248

^bummer, nope no good, I have 17″ rims, and need a tyre at least 275 (or 295 max)

Bummer they are a good tyre. You could run a toyo proxes tq…. come in a 275/40. They are a drag radial but look a little more low key than say running an MT et street.

Been looking for a set of 275/35-19’s for the back of my thing, no one has stock… Everything I’ve read on them they’re great bang for the $$$

I run these on the street.. Relatively cheap and heaps soft. Without running a drag radial on the street probably about as sticky as you’ll get without spending a bomb.

Im running non-resistor BP7EFS’s in my turbo 355. Yes projected tip. Runs fine with haltech efi, don’t get any radio noise through my stereo or anything like that either.

    E85 and 0.8mm gap.

After a fair bit of thought I just took mine out as it doesn’t look std, did not want to cut out for the lockout plus it’s a pain in the ass… If your keeping the b&m ball plus a tbrake button then I’d just keep it, but end of the day reverse lockout is the last thing a cop would look at on your car lol

You won’t go to reverse under WOT you have to go through neutral first with a ratchet… Cavs talking about something completely different and why it’s so important to make sure the cables set up correctly and not fucked.

100%?Street friendly is something you could deal with every day in all traffic conditions on 40 degree days and not worrie about it in the slightest way and not get pulled over and if you do the cops don’t blink a eye at it and defected it because of it’s noise or illegal stuff could jump in after 2000km of no service and happily drive from QLD to VIC and go to drags and turn around and go back then do a service so some day soon when you get around to it

I think your describing a Toyota Camry.

Who would even want a car like that.  I want to get in my car and enjoy the thrill of it not putt around like a pensioner it’s the entire and only reason I’m into cars.  I think your taking the streetable thing slightly out of context.

Fuel pump flow rates aren’t exact, depends on the viscosity of fluid they are tested with and then what is used in real world. Fuel pump ‘hp ratings’ are a very very rough figure.

The 1800 holley pump is rated at 156GPH@43psi, 140GPH@60psi and then would rapidly drop off after that. Its listed on their website. Then you have to account for pressure drop in the amount of line to the injector and the number of fittings.
