7th may, with a test and tune open to all cars on 6th and 8th… Take yours down Gary.. If they don’t reach 100 pre entries of Holden engines they will open up to LS etc….

Offset dowels are good, problem is most people wouldn’t know how to dial in a case or that you even should. Dowels are more critical than people give credit for… Hell some people just bash out the trimatic block dowels drill 2 new holes and bolt the case up undoweled.

Its not drilling new holes that’s the problem its the dowel location as above.
Just source a block and rebuild, cough* deck it.

And of course you can make the same power on different amounts of fuel it all comes down to bsfc.

The ideal way to do it is you screw a fitting on the oil pump filter thread and use say an old power steering pump driven with a drill to prime the engine. Turn the engine over by hand while you do this, that will get oil up to the rocker gear as well before you start it.
