    I’m with you Gary over kill on brakes is a good thing the six pots I had on the vk were killer especially when I had the race pads in ,, warm them up and make sure your seat belt was on :wacko: only down side they squealed on the slow stopping

    looking at doing a little work to the 308 for now 300-350hp to keep me happy  for the time being before I can afford the lsa

    did you find the xyz easy to adjust height and damper

    I agree if it’s a strip/race or Sunday driver but if you want to drive it a lot and it’s auto would be hard on the leg , it would be nice to know what pressure difference between boosted and non boosted , I do like the look

    Hi all I think it’s time for an update well I’m half way through the wiring fuse box and relays are in just got to shorten and lengthen some wires, have sourced a vk heater and aircon units so have to mount them then patch plate the old heater fire wall holes , also half way through the boot floor repair (rust ) now for the goodies I have found a six speed gearbox out of a Vr hsv senator full conversion , got a short shifter of malwood , vx gear nob going to modify clutch pedal to hydraulic ,have got a full rubber kit from rear spares new tail and head lights, chrome trims around head lights and tail lights and a box of clips window winders ,have got the material for interior seats and door trims going in to be done next month dash will get dyed once wiring is done , went and got the xyz front coil overs do for the front with the adapter hubs 343 x 32 mm rotors and the six pot wilwoods are coming had all the arms and x member powder coated , a new alloy  radiator and have changed the radiator support panel

    Hey all I read on another page that these motor (LSA) have three map sensors this surely can not be right , would a 3bar map sensor  be enough, if any one can give me more info would be appreciated

    also I’ve looked at custom wiring looms and they say they add diagnostic plug and oxygen sensors ,don’t the ls1 come with this wired in ???? Cheers Frazer

    Hi Ray project is looking good just had to pass on some info with regards to the  rad support in the early commodores the rad sit on edge and in the vn onwards they sit flat that’s whey Gary (VRsenator) has no issues so you could get a vn -vs rad support and change them this what I did to my last vk

    if you can chase the starter motor wire of the alternator wire it should lead you to a main I think been a while since I looked at a vk

    Hey Nate that’s looking really awesome will the bonnet clear or do you have to put a scoop on , what ecu you going to run is the motor the 24 or 58 Crank wheel

    got to agree the holden 5ltr is good I managed to get 480rwhp with 355 and vortech and man was that fun

    but it will be a lsa this time can get the same power for less than building the 5ltr plus have room to get a bit more power

    anyway nice car bud keep up the good work

    I’ve only driven two cars with fbw a ford ute and a racing mini didn’t like either prefer cable but each to their own , vy computer sounds the go for lsa
