Hey Gary the way I see it, it would not change here the lower arms are still pointing down so all geometry stays the same I have coil overs in the front so ride height is sorted just some height adjustment I would lose in nz it’s a 100mm to the chassis, they have done this for years with 350 Chevy’s

worked on the car over the long weekend labour day here nz pulled the motor out put some 25mm spacers on the k frame removed the brakes, booster, firewall lining ,brake line, fuel lines just to have clean engine bay , fitted the left hand starter kit fits well, modified the bellhouse for starter and trimmed of the other side where the original s…[Read more]

Yes you did but not the man part going between the chassis rails , with that modified one I’m not sure how the steering would work it’s moved back maybe 60mm surely it would throw the steering out
Just an idea if I could cut 20mm out of the height of x member where the sump sits reinforce it so it still looks factory then lower the rack plus…[Read more]

forgot to mention that I had to tap out 6 bolt holes “total” in the block 4 in the mounts and two for the bellhousing were slightly cross threaded all perfect now , got some 10mm plate for the start of the mounts going to cut the x member mounts off and move them back so I can run the air con pump , the motor is sitting back 30-40mm (I’m gu…[Read more]

busy weekend trimmed the sump mated the gearbox to the motor and slipped it in ,gearbox is good where it is motor has a 3degree lean back but would be nice to lower motor down more I have the motor sitting back a lot also got my CRS starter conversion kit looks good will fit it when motor comes out and trim the bellhousing going to see what a 25…[Read more]
