    Well guys havent updated for a while so at the moment slipping clutch is totally sucking at the moment sorced a new flywheel and organic single plate clutch from sunbury brakes for 650 so that is going to be the first thing to sort out and for that price i think thats not bad.     Yeah will be a sad day for both holden and ford the day they shut down. (Both will probley have museums in their honour). But yeah that will be the next powerplant conversion just more expensive than a lsa.

  • Hey gary how low does your exhaust and mufflers sit from the ground. Looking at having a go at my own exhaust. I reckon il stick with twin 2 and a half inch though over 3. I just went over your thread again looking at how you did yours and turned out pretty awesome especially been able to say you did it yourself.

    Hey guys not much to update just took the family for a lil drive this weekend went out for lunch. And the first time my lil one has been in my car since she was born and she was great slept most of the trip. I got some pics just to show off the anthracite grey.

    also found a couple rattles in the passenger door which il attend to one day.

  • There are some arseholes in the world.

    Ive been in a situation were had the car parked and about to get out when i seen a car reversing straight at me. Had my leg out the door and realised they wernt slowing down and luckly i pulled my leg back in the car put a nasty dent in the door. Better the door than my leg.

    but on that i completly understand.

    Hey guys what clutches are the supercharged guys on here running on their t5s or get rags???? Brand? Ceramic organic? Button? As I’m looking at some at the moment and want to get something good but want it to last. And want it to take a bit of torque.

    Cheers Gary and i dont think its much worse than when it was na HDNO5L.

    My coolant temp has lowered to almost nothing since i installed the au thermos. And with whipple being w2a intercooled i guess that helps but so far havent been  for a long drive (over say 1hr 30mins) yet and my au’s are only running on half on my adjustable fan…[Read more]

    Well guys got a mate at bursons to sort me out a throttle position sensor and wolla my idle problem is sorted idles beautiful around 800 the old one had a split pastic surround. Still maybe a lil high but im gussing its through the tune. So i took her for a spin on the weekend and loving it.

    Yeah might look at a longer spring and a differnt anchor point but will try that idea of making it adjustable Gary see how it goes.

    Hey guys got another spring this week and fitted it up. Bloody tight i must say. Started the car and loving it. Idle nicely under 1000. Around 750 maybe a lil more.     Hey guys well lil update made a bracket out of some L angle alli sitting about and managed to find 2 springs around in the shed and strapped them on and wow idling a bit below 1000 so took it for a drive and maybe 2 blocks down the road idle sitting around 1500.     Im not to sure about 2 but ive been fiddleing with putting one return spring on and the idleing has increased to 1500??? It only drops once i push the throttle body back then when i let go it increases??? :scratch:
