Are you wheels really only +31 offset Gary?
You would struggle hard to fit that on a vt-vz especially with Forrest size tyres. Vr-vs must have heaps more room haha.

Probably just how hard it is to find a decent set of wheels in a decent offset, without having to sacrifice tyre width because of the bloody join between the rear quarter and back doors. I want 285’s damn it!

April 12, 2015 at 8:54 pm #4585One of my favourite looking VY Calais mate, beautiful.
Ill get a few measurements when i fit my brake kit for you if you’re on the fence about it too.
April 11, 2015 at 7:04 am #4495Cheers mate, will be going braided just need to know if I should buy them for a 04 or 06 as I need the extra length. Might just contact a brake specialist and ask what fits the bill.

March 24, 2015 at 6:59 pm #3315Don’t think so Grant.
The bleed lines had to be swapped around to suit my car. If you could just swap the calipers left or right you wouldn’t need to change the bleeder. I think Haha.
On the CTSV the calipers are mounted behind the front rotors. On VT-VZs the calipers are mounted in front, so the bleed lines are swapped around to keep the pistons facing the right way

March 20, 2015 at 8:30 pm #3146Beautiful car mate, VH SS is one early girl I certainly wouldn’t complain about having in the garage, love the track orriented build too!
March 19, 2015 at 7:13 am #3034No complaints from me mate, I just have them on their softest setting for daily use. If I go through some twisty stuff I’ll stiffen then up a bit. Only take 10 seconds.
Recently did a trip away in it. 300ks each way. Got out at the end feeling fine. Not worn out etc from the harshness.
I’m not sure if they’re rebranded or not mate. I think they’re made in the same factory as pedders just ‘re branded. And cheaper haha.
March 17, 2015 at 10:11 pm #2928Cheers mate, ill give it a go! A little bit of modification needed, but very simple. Anyone who knows me know’s I’m no master mechanic, if I can do it anyone can haha.
March 16, 2015 at 9:52 pm #2818Didn’t buy concave wheels for nothing ;)
VS, they certainly do come with brackets to mount them up properly. Full brembo kit for the price of a set of 6 pot front alcons haha.
March 16, 2015 at 9:39 pm #2810They’re factory brakes that appear on a car you’re quite a fan of, the LSA CTSV.
March 16, 2015 at 9:24 pm #2804New big brake kit ordered.
6 piston 350mm F
4 piston 330mm R
Should pull up nicely with the next planned power mods.

March 14, 2015 at 10:41 pm #2656Not bad for factory white and amateur detail I thought.
March 14, 2015 at 7:11 pm #2632How far can that alternator move inwards towards the balancer? Perhaps where it sits now is where it could sit under tension, and when you release the tension the alternator moves inwards a little from where it sits now. Rather than moving outwards?

March 11, 2015 at 7:01 pm #2451Could you use the aircon belt to run the water pump? Not sure if there is room for the belt, but the waterpump ‘pulley’ should sit close enough tot he motor to suit the AC belt.
