Posts: 535LOL, I did the exact same thing on my old VN many many years ago.
Here’s one to get you out of a pinch, a role of electrical tape and hose clamp. Wind the electrical tape over the hole in radiator hose and then put the hose clamp over the tape to hold it all together. Obviously it only works on small holes and I wouldn’t recommend it as a long term fix but it’ll get you home or somewhere where you can do a proper repair.

Posts: 535Finally had a change to go back and read over all the happenings since you left the other forum.
I see those cones I recommended for the exhaust made a decent difference although as it turns out still not enough to get down to what was required :(
Isn’t it interesting to see what car manufacturers have to deal with when tuning cars to pass ADR and EPA standards. One of my work mates family members works for Holden and what he does is on road testing of new vehicles to make sure they comply with standards and the vehicle performs to design specifications. Basically put, he drives around in vehicles fitted with multitudes of testing equipment.
In the end you really are setting standard because there aren’t many car built to this level (of modification) that not only pass engineering but also pass EPA testing

Previously I had cheapies from K mart but I had one fall over on me, fortunately the axle stand wedged the car up just enough to let me breathe and give my boy enough time to jack the car up off me. Took a fair while before I got under a car again and not until I got the above jack and now use multiple axle stands as extra security.
The only issue is it won’t fit under my Senator because it’s to low. Going to get something like this soon
That should get it high enough to jack it up.
Also considering some higher steel wheel ramps.
One day, once I get my house renovations done I’ll be looking at a hoist, something similar to what you have because it’ll be used in a garage and I won’t have enough height unless we move to a new place with a much larger man cave for me to work in.

Looks like I have a little catching up to do.
Great to see/hear you’re out cruising in her
