Probably only a matter of time before your pics don’t work me thinks.
You could always host the pics directly on your own forum server.

Didn’t like Photobucket either TBH, I’m not a fan of the so called “cloud computing” craze period because what Photobucket have done will happen more and more where so called free storage will suddenly incur fees and your data will be held to ransom effectively.
I keep all my stuff on my home server.

Another good thread ruined by photopuke receptacle
Was looking for some B&M pro shifter info as I was about to order one and get a drop box made for my Senator.

Not a fan personally but then I’m not much of a fan of living your life using your mobile either.

Considering what has been spent on tuning I wouldn’t be surprised if the tuner did it for free, it’s easy enough once it’s wired in.

Motor Trends Engine Masters recently did a dyno shootout to do this comparison. I’ll post the link when it hits youtube.

I actually agree with the above, nothing better than popping a bonnet and seeing a great big blower living atop the engine Those fugly coils on top of the LS rocker covers really detract from the look of a clean engine bay. I know the old distributor lacks a bit of punch ignition wise but it does look a little neater with the coil been h…[Read more]

I don’t disagree but what I’m saying is that the primary motivator for any mod is to improve the vehicle and form is a secondary consideration.
I’m not interested in spending thousands to reline the dash in leather for example, to me that is totally cosmetic and not something I’m interested in. Same with the wiring in the bay, I’ll make it as…[Read more]

Certainly, I’d do anything to improve performance and improving the look but I’d miss something that would only be of cosmetic value. I’d rather put money on something to make it go faster (or stop or go around corners better etc).
Don’t get me wrong, I totally admire those cars that are 100% perfect panel and paint but it’s not…[Read more]

Function over form for me. Make it go as hard as possible and if it looks good doing it all the better.

You planning to reinforce the top trailing arm chassis mounts?

Geez, I haven’t seen one of those since my high school days….
Welding is definitely a good skill to have. I’m good with a stick welder and ok with Mig but I never learnt Tig although it’s definitely on my list of things to acquire. I recently added a 20ton workshop press and just picked up a 10ton hydraulic puller kit

Definitely is. It’s just not worth debating with the user as he fairly much is never wrong, even when he is…..
I think a lot of Commodores that have issues with broken welds in the strut towers are cars that are lowered poorly which means the bump stop gets hit a lot and that would transfer the load to the strut towers.
I like fitting strut…[Read more]
