Exhaust is almost done, fingers crossed it’s ready for me to pickup Saturday morning and drop it off at the tuners. I’ve written myself a short list of what I want the tuner to do, have a read through and let me know if you have any suggestions:

I like the darker grey, the pics I have seen on some white VK/VL’s with the darker grey makes the white paint pop a little more.

today I pulled the group 3 front bar extension off my front bumper. The bumper is still in good condition, any ideas on how to remove the sikaflex that’s still stuck?

Bought a set of SL door moulds so I’ll paint the front and rear bars to match.

Just a base tune so it starts and idles. Just cruised it down the street in first. Ran it through all gears up on stands

Successful weekend. Put the new front brakes on, bled everything and the only leak was the join under the car. Took the join apart and one side wasn’t totally flat. Filed it back a little and it was fine. Good pedal feel.

Booked in for next Sat the 14th to get the exhaust done. Going with twin 2.5 into single 3 inch over the diff. The shop is also making up a straight through rear pipe that will bolt on behind the diff so I can swap out the rear muffler, that was their idea and it’s not costing anything so I’ll give it a crack.

How close are the lines to the exhaust? Can you move the fuel reg away from the bay? The return line might be too close to something hot and is heating the fuel as it goes back to the tank. I’ve got an LS3 in a VK, I run a VN tank with Walbro 460 in the standard hanger, then into a filter/reg mounted behind the diff, then dead head 3/8 to the rail.

Hows the clearance with the Pacemakers?
