No idea, they probably do, I went with them as a lot of the local trimmers use them when doing the usual VK and VL Brock interiors

Just had a thought, do I need to use underlay? or can I just lay the carpet over the bare floor?

Ordered new carpet from Knox, loop pile with the drivers heel mat. Also found a set of slide locks to suit the VL door cards I have.

Hey mate is it worth letting Jenvey know what happened? I’m sure you aren’t the only one with that type of manifold and what happened is something they should address with their design

Finally all done. The fuel issue was the hose on the hanger that runs from the pump to the hardline on the hanger, it was leaking, the hose had started to deteriorate for some reason. The hose was replaced and it was all good. Ended up making 320rwhp, lower than I thought but the tuner said the high stall and TH400 suck more power out of them,…[Read more]

Thanks guys, yeah i’m hoping its something simple. Keen to get it back and start putting it back together. Spent the weekend working on the bonnet, more sanding and primer, sanding and primer, sanding and primer. Feel like I’m polishing a turd, but it’s slowly getting better. Definitely will be on the hunt for a new bonnet next year.

So there’s good news and bad news. The good news is that the car is running perfectly on the dyno up to 4 grand, everything is spot on, oil pressure, temp, no funny noises. Spoke to the tuner, they  have one car they;re finishing off on the dyno then mine is going on. They have relocated the trans cooler lines, fingers crossed there is nothing left to do.

Probably. I’m running out of time to get the car ready, I already have the paint and the bonnet was only 100 bucks so I’ll see how it turns out for the time being. I’ll use it as a bit of a learning curve on body work. I still like reverse cowls so I might get one of the Group 3 style ones next year, that might help disguise some of the problems.
