Thanks Dave, description and pics are great. I’ll more than likely do something similar, just without the return line. Will also need to sort out the charcoal canister, do you have any pics of that?

I’ll have a chat to my mate who’s helping me with the build over the weekend and see if the kit is worth getting. It’s not all that pricey, and I’ll need the bender and cutter anyway. If the flare tool doesn’t work properly, I’ll get the flares done elsewhere

The guy I spoke to at Hoppers said it’d be easy to do in mild steel, but it was a prick to get right with stainless.

I’ve been speaking with an engineer in Newcastle about the build. He said VT brake upgrade will be fine with an LS3 and wont need a brake test.

I do need to get new hard lines for the front though. Probably the rear as well knowing my luck.

Just spoke to them and ordered a pair of hub adaptors. They said if they don’t have them on the shelf it’ll take a week to get made which is fine.

Called Holmart, they only have one hub left and wont be getting any more for at least a couple of months. Hoppers Stoppers have some in stock, anyone had any dealings with them? Their ones are $360 for a pair, including bearings

Early Commodores need the hub adapters if you’re doing a VT brake upgrade cause the discs are different.

Need to get hub adaptors to do the brake upgrade. Not many options to choose from, eBay has a pair for $195 but they look like generic, probably chinese made ones. Holmart have them for $340 a pair, but they look like better quality. Any suggestions?

wont get it powdercoated, a mate is going to paint it for me. He has a steam cleaner at work and will paint it, he works for a mining equipment company so it won’t cost anything, and I like that cost haha.
