gonna run hardline for most of it. Braided from the filter/regulator over the diff then hardline up to the firewall then braid to the rail.

Bonnet looks good, can you grab a pic side on to show where it goes over the rear vents? Mine doesn’t look right so I want to compare it. Also, any pics of how your trans cooler lines are running and how it’s mounted behind the bar?

Looking at the wiring on the fuel pump, does the plug go inside the tank, and the exposed wires connect to the factory prongs on the top/end of the fuel sender unit?

Can I use normal metal hose clamps or do I need a certain type that wont be affected by fuel?

Going to be ramping up work on the VK over the next month or two. A friend of a friend has built a few cars in the past and knows his way around wiring and will help me get it all wired up. That should make pulling the new harness apart easier, my engine loom has all that in it.

need some ideas on how to mount the rail and relays, thinking about in the glove box, maybe use a sheet of thickish plastic with some holes cut out to slot in the rail and relays and mount it under the dash so I open the glove box to access it

What did you end up going with?

Picked up the harness and fuse box, its in perfect condition, every bit of wiring from front to back. Gonna lay it all out on the ground and use my fancy new service manual to arrange it like it is when in the car and look at what bits i can remove, like the engine harness and stuff. Done.

Mine took about 5 months from CAE. Plus the starter cable was on the normal side, not for the left side starter relocation. I called them about it an they said “just pull the cables out of the loom and re-route them down the left side”. Super professional.

Good to see some progress though Cava 

Found a workshop manual online for VKs, saving it here so I can get it printed at work tomorrow lol

I’ve found an intact fuse box and rail in good condition plus a full body harness for 200 bucks, picking it up this sat. Been thinking about the wiring for a while now and I don’t have the coin to throw at it at the moment so I hoping this might get things happening.
