Had di fillipo 4 into 1’s on vy ss m6 daily driver…it was slightly lowered, those extractors scraped on just about everything…did sound off it’s head, way too loud with twin 3″ for a daily but loved it.
Nice set of Tri-y pacies are well up to the task.

My kind of build..got similar asteroid silver vk on/off build that’s halfway through mini-tub trying to keep it looking factory’ish looking except it’s efi 5l/th700 & built from left-overs,swap deals & hand me downs.
Also just inside wheel arch dead in the middle is where they can rub if go too low or too big sidewall/tyre size…can quickly…[Read more]

Does this have a electric pump or only that mechanical pump?
Thought the cam for efi heads don’t eccentric for f/pump arm to work off, never seen anyone actually confirm it.
If it’s actually running off that mechanical pump then time for rebuild or replacement as seal or diaphram leaking…look simlar ozrace item
Does sound like engine…[Read more]

Pro9 arms apparently need lower springs as perch sits on top.
Rear calipers practically more under chassis rail looks tight & kind of dodgy to work on but think main reason with drums is axle seal is thinner + drum allows wheel to tuck in more.
Just use your reinforced stocker control arms with notches cut out…they work just keep spare set…[Read more]

Wait untill after getting dropbox..dummy fit it all up the way you want then fit console & everything it might clear cover all depends on dropbox.
If not basically slice lockout lever flush with bracket then either move it in line with shifter & back just enough to clear console cover when move it to put in reverse/park.
The shifter cover…[Read more]

Can splurge on a dropbox if want to sink it into factory console although for the price try to get your own folded up.
Had to chop reverse lockout on mine, moved it & back & in centre instead of cutting an immaculate console.
Tie bar is vl-vs you want & single fan much neater like vs v6 slimline near bolt on job or high flow bf…

When diff is that short calipers actually sit or hit under chassis rail also a must if wanting boganic 3 3/8 dish
Pro9 lower arms will give the tyre clearance + keep stock type spring (want lower arm parallel/flat line to road though)
Adjustable top arms to correct yoke angle & shocker moved 1 1/2-2 to rail also panhard shortened with new…[Read more]

Dont they have aftermarket brackets that angle the rear coil to clear booster?
Although that looks like needs chopping lol.
With ya on cheap tyres gouged the sidewalls 1st time doing doughies in storage unit carpark…car was bit too low & diff off centred grrr
Nice tidbit of info about vz boosters there

Pins wider apart & lower hose outlet at bottom of radiator means got vn-vs raditor…to make fit as is you’ll need to move the bottom L brackets & cut section out for lower hose maybe modify centre depending on fan choice.
Can either get vb-vk ls raditor version bolt on vs v6 thermofan or change tiebar underneath to vn-vs off a wreck then run…[Read more]

Yeah that’ vt type cannister…the earlier vr-s small cannister are nice to use can have them on radiator as factory or tuck them under with bumper bar bolt bend metal line to outside of rail & use longer lines.
Glad I’m not only one fussy about fuel lines & tank mods lol

Race Brakes Sydney sell both those vt kits complete with modded up parts ready to go…price looks tad steep.
Apparently vt booster kit works better than single diaghram vs booster.
Lol@drink & ebay..think that’s how I ended up with a silver vk ebay purchase

Yeah man 28×10 is same as 275/60.
Just remember for smashing street tyres like nankang etc 275/60 & 255/60 are like 1/2 sometimes 2/3 price of other big tyres.
Got expensive 305/50/15 worn down 50% tread less 12 months…wanted to go 325/50 big momma’s untill saw price so next set $200 nankang 275/60 haha
That sucks buying parts only to…[Read more]

Thought that’s for hsv/brocks etc
There is one up on ebay but those prices better off waiting for Series 3 vs maloo or super clean vs ss ute
I nearly got one with 355/th350 & group a manifold simmons etc with 40k on clock for 16-18k a few years back but felt I’d only be stripping too nice car.

Thoise tuff/crs trans mounts they’re basically done to suit trans combinations yes?
th400 is good choice more vfm for the abuse they’ll take…seen 10.0sec tubbed vk do repeated transbrake skids on street, most fun ever.
When does this return with fat bum mods? 28×10?

Yeah mate the distance is the killer, will try some home remedies to clean out gum residue coating inside current tank, untill then cant weld the mofo.
Larger overflow hose means love taps to vb-k bootfloor to get it through gap…chop 40mm off vn filler neck & add vn-s fuel sender plug then it’s done lol
